Enjoy a quiet drone longer
What is so special about this drone from the DJI Mavic Pro series? There is not a single drone in this series that can fly so quietly through the air. The noise has been reduced by 60% compared to the standard Mavic. Another special feature of this Platinum drone is the extended flying time. Now you can enjoy the compact drone for 30 minutes.
Foldable and ready to use within seconds
The DJI Mavic Pro has two large dashes for predecessors like the Phantom 3 and the Phantom 4. The Mavic Pro is ready to use in just 5 seconds and perhaps even more important: it fits easily into your backpack. So it is no longer necessary to carry a giant suitcase with you. To give you an idea: the DJI Mavic Pro is folded up just as big as the controller of the DJI Phantom 4.
Game computer-like control
The remote controller of this drone is most reminiscent of that of a game computer. You fold out the underside, slide out the antennas and attach your smartphone to the underside. On the screen of your smartphone, the image that the 4K camera is recording is visible. So you have a great first person view from the drone. The screen of the controller itself provides users with the necessary flight data: this way you always know how high the Mavic Pro is flying, at what speed and where the drone is located.
Escape obstacles automatically
The DJI Mavic Pro knows exactly where he is located. The cameradrone has 4 sensors on the bottom and front. This avoids the drone obstacles, enables him to land completely independently and allows him to follow people and objects. It is even possible to fly indoors with the Mavic. When the drone ascends, two vision sensors record the environment. In addition, the Mavic Pro connects up to 20 satellites, so that it always knows where to go when the return to home function is enabled.
The camera is clearly visible on the front of the DJI Mavic Pro. It is attached to a 3-axis gimbal. The gimbal ensures that the images are always perfectly stabilized. The 4K camera is the same as that on the DJI Phantom 4. This allows you to record razor-sharp 4K images with a frame rate of 30 fps or 1080p images with a frame rate of 96 fps. Photographs are 12 megapixels and are stored in so-called DNG RAW format. This means that they can be edited afterwards.
